The core mission of the Assistant Technician is to assist Crew Leaders to complete jobs efficiently and effectively. Company Information:
We are a non-ferrous sand casting foundry that has been located on the Northside of Syracuse for over 80 years. We make molds out of sand that is bound together with clay, water or chemical binders. We then pour liquid aluminum or brass into these molds to make a casting. The castings are removed from the sand mold by shaking or knocking the sand away. Then the parts are shot blast and extra material is cut or ground off.

At the Mike Baltrusitis State Farm Insurance Agency, we are looking for our next great Insurance Sales Agent who is a team player! Our agency performs at a very high level. As a Sales Agent, you will get paid a base hourly wage based upon your experience and your performance, as well as the opportunity to earn commissions and additional monetary incentives. Basically, you can write your own paycheck. You get what you put into it. Our compensation package also includes paid time off, holidays and sick days.
Your responsibilities include:
-Prospecting and bringing in new business to the agency
-Selling Property and Casualty insurance
-Selling Life Insurance
-Develop leads through networking, self-generation and referrals
-Marketing appropriate products and services based upon customer needs
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service
-Provide exceptional phone and communication skills
-High volume outbound calling
-Service may include, but is not limited to taking payments, making car changes, policy or coverage changes, claims submissions, policy transfers, bill clarification as well as sales of new policies
- Work with Agent to establish and meet Agency, Corporate and personal goals
- Maintain a positive attitude with a strong work ethic and a commitment to success
Requirements:
- Taking a skills assessment (upon receipt of resume, this will be emailed to you, and it’s completion is required to be considered for this position)
