The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, Division of the State Fair, is seeking individuals who are interested in temporary employment for the 2019 New York State Fair, August 21 – September 2, 2019

What to bring:

• If you are under the age of 18, you must bring valid, original, New York State Working Papers. (Positions are limited to parking attendants only)
• • Two forms of unexpired identification
  • Veterans must bring a copy of their DD-214.

We will be interviewing for a variety of assignments including: general labor/maintenance/restrooms, parking (attendants & cashiers) and safety staff.

The inability to work all the days of the State Fair will limit available assignments. The work hours, rate of pay, and duration of employment varies by assignment. Certain positions are needed in advance of the first day of the State Fair. Applicants may be subject to background investigation/criminal history checks. The Department of Agriculture and Markets does not directly employ the food vendors or concessionaires.
