LAUNCH Career Solutions Academy Recruiting Event

What: Career Solutions Academy (CSA) will be holding a recruitment event at the Salina Library. CSA is offering a training certificate program in Custodial Technician Training from the ISSA Cleaning Management Institute (CMI). The certification provides participants with a leg up when job searching in the field, particularly when seeking employment at educational institutions and medical facilities. The course offers both classroom based lessons and hands-on experiences. 

In addition to the CMI curriculum, students are provided with job readiness training in workshops tailored to help them improve their skills such as: resume and cover letter writing, job searching, and interviewing. The course also offers training in softskills such as teamwork, communication, and networking—skills that are highly valued by employers. Classes are held twice per week from 9:30AM–12:30PM. The full program runs for twelve weeks per session. 

The training is specifically tailored to persons with disabilities, veterans, the underemployed, and chronically unemployed. During this event, the instructor will be on hand to answer questions about the program and enrollment.
