On-The-Job Training
The On-the-Job Training Program (OJT) helps defray the costs associated with hiring and training new workers or upgrading current workers. OJT provides reimbursement for up to 50% of the wage rate paid during the defined training period.
- Trainee must qualify for services and register with CNY Works
- Training must result in a salary increase
- OJT contract must be approved before the training program begins
- Trainee cannot have prior work experience in the skill areas outlined in the training outline
- The length of training time allowed will be developed on an individual basis
- Individual must be trained and retained for a full time position
