Local Workforce Investment Board

CNY Works is part of the Local Workforce Investment Board (LWIB). By its composition, the LWIB facilitates a partnership approach to meeting the needs of business, providing career opportunities for workers, and assuring meaningful education and employment experiences for youth. The Board composition should align with an approach to workforce development which recognizes it as an economic development tool.
